Ah, the football field. The best part of the school. Lots of outdoor sports are played here but the best is football. Students love to come to the football games and hang with friends, eat hot dogs and popcorn and have lots of fun! It's also just a nice place to come after school and hang out.

[Continued from: Home Room] Lucid walked down the stairs from their homeroom class, following closely behind Mala so that they wouldn't get separated. Sure he had to push and shove a bit but that was how your survived the high school hallways! They push you, you push them back. It was a lot easier to walk once they got out to the football field and he was now able to walk beside Mala rather then behind her. He could see the field just up ahead and he couldn't help but grin. "Ah...the football field. This is where we first met." Lucid lightly slapped her shoulder before placing his arm playfully around her shoulders. He smiled an bright, innocent smile. Suspicious much?

Eveon leaned against one of the poles that held up the bleachers that overlooked the football field. As an investigator, she had the right to arrest people if she wanted, and considering her looks, she could blend right in if she wanted. This school seemed to have a lot of mischevious kids, making it a good place to catch kids breaking the law. She walked out from behind the bleachers and noticed a boy and girl near the football field.
"Now what would they be doing out here?" She wondered.

Mala kept herself clear of the crush of the crowd by hazardly swinging her instrument case. It certainly had it's advantages at times. She glanced back at Lucid, right when he moved up beside her, smiling innocently. The friendly gesture was a bit much.
"That, and Loser High's more unusual characters..."
The student body wandered all over the painted green grass, while teachers grumbled and attempted to round up thier classes to take role. She could already see classmates who had made a detour to the parking lot to drive off. Mala shrugged off Lucid's arm, unnerved, but glanced at what seemed to be a stranger on school grounds. Cops. Great.

"Hm?" Lucid frowned when Mala shrugged off his arm. Guess it was to be expected since they were still getting to know each other. Perhaps it made her feel uncomfortable. He simlpy felt the Mala was the one he could trust at the moment.
Lucid looked at her and noticed her glance at something.
"What is it?"

"Cops. Don't they need a pass or something to come on the grounds?"
Mala firmly kept her gaze away firmly away from what had the aura of law enforcement. It wasn't hard, being half blind. She turned her head and spotted an empty bench.
"I'm going to play, since we're stuck out of here, coming?"

"I would think so..." Lucid followed behind Mala, as if it were an automatic reaction. It was a bit surprising even for him. Oh well, not like he cared.
"Yep. I have nothing better to do." Lucid decided he's stay standing but did let his bag slide from his shoulder onto the ground by the bench.

Why was everyone's first impression of her a cop? One, wasn't really a cop, but was close to it, and two, she looked just young enough to be a senior. She guessed it was just how she dressed. She didn't exactly dress in the latest fashion or anything. Her job didn't require a great fashion sense or anything. She looked up at the sky as patches of clouds slowly moved over the football field, casting large shadows.

Mala plopped down on the bench, and within a few moments had her saxaphone out, the strap around her neck. Taking along minute to wet her reed she glanced around, trying to decide whether to start on a scale, or a song.
"You're welcome to sing along, if you can pick out the song."
Mala set her reed to the mouth piece, and tightend it in place. Once in position, she closed her eyes, and did a quick scale. Satisfied with the tonal quality she eased into Phantom of the Opera, reopening her gaze to glance at Lucid.

"Ah yes. That song." Lucid groaned. He never was into the classics or anything before the 2000's which was probably why he disliked choir so much. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small, black, metal electornic device. An iPod nano as they were known and he had the newest one with the hard case.
Lucid flashed it at her but he wouldn't put it on. He didn't want to be rude and besides, her playing was amazing.
At one point though, Lucid glanced back at the girl Mala had noticed earlier. He wondered if they had heard anything about what happened that night, about the ghostly looking jocks.

Eveon turned her attention back to the kids as the girl got out her saxaphone and began playing. She could tell she was quite good by how she played and how beautiful it was. She believed that she was playing Phatom of the Opra. She had heard the song before and so it was familiar to her. These kids didn't seem like anyone to cause much trouble. She saw the boy glance back at her, she began to feel like they knew something that she didn't.

Mala rolled her eyes at Lucid, and switched to something more modern, well, at least that came out in the last five years. She spent several moments playing through a couple of songs, thinking of the encounter from the evening before. She rested a moment, then with a mischievious grin, did the Jaws theme.
She couldn't help but laugh when several students and a teacher found a reason to walk away very quickly.

Lucid began to laugh as Mala played the Jaws theme song.
"Wow...random much?" Lucid said between fits of laughter as he noticed some of his fellow students and teachers walk away. Good, he liked it that way.
Lucid shoved his iPod back into his pocket and looked back at Mala, letting out a light sigh. He wanted school to be over already because he wanted to blow the rest of the day away doing shit that he wanted and liked to do.
